SOFTLINK s.r.o. - past and present
Softlink was originaly established in 1993 and had operated on IT and telecommunications market until its consolidation with ČESKÉ RADIOKOMUNIKACE, a.s. (Czech Radiocommunications, CRa) in 2002.
The company traded mainly in data telecommunication sphere and also in development of custom-designed solutions in information systems and devices constructed on microprocessor system base.
Among the largest projects of Softlink should be placed a transaction network for POS-terminals of CCS company (Czech Credit Company), and data network working on Frame Relay, ATM and IP protocols for large customers, operating on CRa network backbone. The most significant projects among the microprocessor and electronic appliances development sphere were development and production of POS terminals for CCS company and development and production of car security systems.
In the years 2002 – 2007 the Softlink as a company doesn’t exist due to the integration in ČRa.
In 2007 starts up a new, second stage of the company’s activities. In the middle of the year 2007 the original team of specialists re-formed and in the end of the year Softlink was re-established. The new SOFTLINK focuses on the telecommunication areas providing counseling services and information system development services.
Another area is OSS (Operating Support Systems) in which the highest-rating product is a monitoring and control system NetVision.
Among the most considerable products of the company are GPRS modems which are used in applications requiring a high reliability and steadiness, for example in ATMs’ (automatic teller machine) communication.
The indispensable area of Softlink’s activities is a software and hardware development for industrial applications and electronic safety and testing systems – there is a very good co-operation with an automotive industry. The strategic concept of the company is focused on the development of software applications for IT and telecommunication solutions, industrial applications and development of devices based on microprocessor systems used in telemetry and industrial prosess automation.



WACO is a wireless communication system operating in free 868 MHz frequency band, designed for data collection from meters, sensors and other telemetric elements and transfer to a central processing system.
