NB – IoT (NARROWBAND)

The NB IoT (Narrow Band Internet of Things) technology is part of mobile networks. It can also be referred to as 4.5G technology. NB IoT modules are characterized by significantly higher receiver sensitivity, which is around -128 dB. Low power consumption and the communication system with the mobile network create ideal conditions for collecting data from meters and sensors over large areas. It offers extensive potential for industrial use in distribution networks for water, gas, and electricity, as well as for monitoring large-scale technological units. It allows the connection of various sensors for temperature, humidity, pressure, gas leak detection, and all types of sensors with analog outputs. Battery power enables quick and cost-effective installation. The operation of these modules can last up to 10 years without needing to replace the battery.
